Unbeatable Energy is frequently asked who its target audiences are, but the list is vast! From day centres to housing associations to festivals to scout and guide groups to homeless charities to mental health and special needs groups to circus acts to religious groups, young people and students - many diverse community members have benefited from the power and inclusiveness of group drumming. For more information visit our community client list or read our community testimonials. Unbeatable Energy is experienced in working with challenged groups to facilitate a sense of well-being in individuals. In association with an internal Coordinator we develop a clear understanding of desired objectives and outcomes. Drumming sessions are then tailored to focus on a theme and engage the whole group in a rhythmic discussion that explores issues relevant to the group. The whole group is brought together to produce rhythms and beats, complementing each other in their creativity, supporting one another in generating a result they would not have thought possible before being touched by Unbeatable Energy. Through this technique Unbeatable Energy achieve substantial shifts in behaviour patterns, communication skills and breakdown personal and social barriers; visit our client testimonial page to see how Unbeatable Energy has helped other organisations achieve their goals. Group facilitator Steve Rivers has over ten years experience in teaching and leading drum circles. Steve combines his experience with an open and warm personality that allows him to connect with people, irrespective of their particular situation. His ability to make people feel at ease in a completely new situation is a defining factor in the success of Unbeatable Energy. The medical, psychological and emotional benefit of group drumming has gained global recognition in the last decade with community based organisations taking full advantage of the way it breaks down barriers, builds confidence and aids better communication. "An historical review disclosed that drumming as a healing ritual has been used for thousands of years by many civilizations throughout the world. Recently, there's been a strong resurgence of interest in drumming and drum circles, and how such activities can be used therapeutically in the medical setting. Drumming …. has evolved into an effective group intervention that is enjoyed on many levels. We're delighted to have scientific evidence suggesting it is truly beneficial from a biological perspective."
